INGREDIENTS
250 grams butter
1/2 cup icing sugar
1 cup Maizena (cornflour)
2 and a half cups cake flour
Cream the butter and the icing sugar.
Sift the cornflour and the cake flour together and then add to the icing sugar and butter.
Grease a flat baking pan.
Press the dough into the pan. Prick the surface of the dough with a fork.
Bake at 150 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes.
Allow the shortbread to cool before cutting into squares. Sprinkle the top with a bit of icing sugar.
